The owners of this stately Back Bay condo came to us looking for a refresh. The condo, with its enviable Back Bay location, had an appropriately grand parlour. Modern renovations to the building had resulted in an unfortunate spiral stair being inserted directly into the otherwise impressive space. Wanting to maintain the location of the stair but improve its function as well as its aesthetic, FSA set out to create a custom-designed stair and balustrade that matched the building's character and grandeur. The rest of the condo only required minimal work to bring its former beauty back to the forefront. Now, the parlour welcomes guests with a grace befitting this stunning home.
